CRYSTALS & GEMSTONES ARE STOREHOUSES OF ENERGY! From early on our ancestors understood the need for the powerful healing properties and symbology of gemstones and crystals. They were found being worn on the breastplates of high priests in the holy temples and adorned the body in headdresses and ornamental jewelry. Crystals and gemstones are wonderful and powerful healing tools because of what science calls their 'piezoelectric effect' (i.e., modern quartz watches).
Crystals and gemstones respond to the electricity that is coursing through our body, and if the energy is sluggish, the constant electrical vibrations of the stones will help to harmonize, balance, and stimulate these energies. The inherent beauty of crystals and gemstones further assists us in discovering our own inherent beauty as gemstones and crystals are living beings of true service to humanity and the world. It is my hope that some of the information that follows in this little guide assists you in understanding why you may be attracted to one gemstone over another. Take time in meditation to sit quietly with a favorite stone (or red rock of Sedona) and allow it to share its sweet message to your soul.
