Hello and welcome to our private Danish Trip page.  We enjoyed our visit to Denmark so very much and loved all your company and experienced such loving sharing and joy ... our hearts are deeply touched.  Below are a photos highlighting our journey.  We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we do.  We look forward to some of you coming out here to visit us in Sedona and we also look forward (with earnest) to our return trip because there were so many people we didn't get a chance to visit more personally which really broke our hearts ... so ... we just HAVE to come back! CASTLES/SLOTS

AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE!   

All in all we either slept in and/or visited four slots (castles) in Denmark's Jugland and Shelland:  Kronborg, Christanborg (The Queen's and Parliment's working castle), Fredenborg, and Gammel Vraa (where we slept over).  this was my very first experience of castles and I am still in awe of their majesty and beauty.  What an experience.  Now I am quietly formulating our next trip back to Denmark to see all the rest of the castles and visit our family and friends again.  Enjoy the following photos.

After a lovely visit with Mona, Michael, Simon and Signe (and their farm animal friends) ... we drove to Tylstrup's Gammel Vraa Slot for dinner and then spent the night in this beautiful castle built in the early 1300's.

Michael & I arrived late in the day for our visit to Old Town and had about 1/2 hour of viewing time to explore and photograph this magnificent, beautiful place set in 1864's living history of Aarhus and Denmark.  ... just one of the many reasons why we simply MUST return to Denmark ... soon!!!
