TEACHING TIP: ON PSYCHIC CONNECTION - HOW DO I CONNECT WITH YOU?

There are many ways to connect with the energetic signature of an individual or group consciousness as a whole. I connect well via audio when I hear a person's vibration resonance in their vocal chords. The feeling is like 'coming home'; the client's energies are washed over me, I immerse myself in their vibration, and ta-da the connection is not only made but anchored.
Another way I connect is by holding a personal object (psychometry/touch-know) of the client's. I have held anything from jewelry, photographs, hats and clothing, cell phones, glasses and more. If the reading is not a specific reading on an object, ultimately, my holding their hands is the best physical way of connecting.
I love working as a psychometrist because everything truly is alive and has a story to tell. The old saying, "If these walls could talk" is actually a reality to a psychometrist/touch-know. In fact, I love to enter old buildings and touch antiques for this very reason. It is as if another world of rich history has opened up with one touch.
Can I become overwhelmed by sensory data? Yes. I have to do some major shutting down of certain sensory systems otherwise. This is a somewhat automatic process yet it still requires conscious effort and attention. Going shopping in a thrift or antique shop, as a tactile person (love to touch things), if I keep my internal sensors open all the time I get overloaded with everything talking to me, sharing their feelings and stories. I can get very ungrounded and sometimes nauseous, and have make a hasty retreat. Through trial and error I have built up various effective protection methods. In lieu of the above methods, I can 'tap etherically' into your energy field simply by repeating or thinking of you and/or your name. I can receive an email reading request with nothing written (blank) and can give a free unstructured reading on an individual.
Conversely, a client may offer specific questions, data details, history and background if they prefer. Clients who appear confused and are unclear about what they want have a lot of mixed up, tangled energy cords wrapped around them. Through compassion and patience, I unravel the energy to a degree to be clear on what exactly to 'read' for that individual. Which leads me to this next point ... if the client has doubts, skepticism, fears, fears concerning their reading, they are effectively shut down and can be challenging to read. Their negative emotions cloud a clear connection and are transferred over to me.
In order to get to the meat of the reading, when working with a very skeptical or wary client, sometimes I have to "prove" myself during the entire first half of the session before they open up and let down their guard enough for me to have a clearer view of their real/authentic (higher) vibration. It can be quite a challenge to get past their protective guard but again, through compassion and patience, the magic returns, they are pleasantly surprised and have a wonderful experience. People fear the possibility of hearing doom and gloom info, dis-eases, deaths in the family, lost jobs, etc.
We all have options at every moment, options to do one thing or another as in infinite choices. Whatever is there for you, the strongest options, will be the first piece of information I notice and receive, the most possible or probable outcome. And this can be said about remotely viewing a future timeline of events as well. Sometimes things like death do not come at me directly but rather they are not revealed at all. I have to trust that whatever energies are showing themselves in the reading are for the best and highest good for the client.
How do I get messages? We all have our own set of filters. When I see a red light it means 'stop', when I see a green light it means 'go', when I see a raven it means 'magic', and so on. Your higher self/spirit works through me by utilizing my own filters to convey their message back to you. Oftentimes the message is in visual symbolic form, it can be an intense knowing or deep feeling, an audible voice, a clear vision, a big aHA!, or parts of my own body will respond directly to the parts of your body that are in pain. The ways and means of Spirit working through us are infinite.
The Key:
It is the Reader's job to stay in integrity,
remain clear and listen.
What happens when I connect with a crossed over family member, friend or pet? Sometimes if the connection is very strong the crossed over individual will be "visibly" present in their auric field. When this happens it is simply a matter of holding a conversation with them (filled with the rich tapestry of history that individual holds). I think I must have a special connection with crossed over/other side of the veiled ones because I had a very special dream a few years ago about being crossed over myself. GO TO THE DREAM NOW
With that said, the ones on the other side are no different than the ones on this side in many respects. They all have important messages and things they want to say to us. Mostly I hear them wanting us to feel that it's okay that they're gone from this side of the veil. Usually they are doing quite well and happily are with other family members. Rarely do I get a being who is so advanced that he/she does something extraordinarily out of the usual on the other side; yet, it does happen.
All in all, whether I am connecting with crossed over beLoveds and pets, yet-to-be-born babies, people's objects, past lives, future timelines, or personal love life, the experience is rewarding and fulfilling, the client receives important information to help them along their spiritual/red road path, and another chance at bridging the gap between worlds has been completed. This work is beautiful, exciting, rewarding and I am grateful to share my gifts and hopefully teach others how to utilize their inherent gifts as well.
